OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg girls peewee hockey team is hoping to go to the Girl Power Hockey Tournament in Oswego Jan. 29-31.
To get there, the team is holding two fundraising events.
The first event is at Buster's Sports Bar in Ogdensburg on Wednesday, Jan. 13. Buster's is donating a portion of their pasta sales between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. that day. Delivery is available. They will also be raffling off baskets, and there will be a 50/50 raffle at the door.
The second event is a Rock & Skate on Saturday, Jan. 16 from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m. at Lockwood Arena. Admission is $3 and rental skates are available for $3. There will also be a small concession stand at the event. Everything will cost $1. Skaters are asked to wear their favorite sports jerseys.
