OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum’s Kid’s Place has planned several free summer events for local children beginning June 24 and ending August 30.
Hours will be Monday through Friday from 11 to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1to 4 p.m.
They are hosting a five day art camp based on robot crafts from June 24 through June 28, 11 to 4 p.m.
Activities include two hands-on workshops on June 29th (making fairy gardens) and July 6th (making wind chimes).
They also plan to have two more art camps; the return of the Children’s Tea Party and the annual Art in the Park, and a special Waterfowl Festival for young people. Registration is mandatory for the workshops.
