OGDENSBURG -- McDonald's, 1134 Patterson St., will hold a fundraising event Tuesday, March 14, to benefit two local Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides teams, Goin' for Owen and Madison's Miracle.
Eight-year-old Owen is the grandson of Nancy Rudiger and Lance Rudiger, and 11-year-old Madison is the granddaughter of Judy and Bill Green.
McDonald's will donate a percentage of their profits made from 4-7 p.m. to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the research needed to find a cure for the disease.
Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening and often fatal genetic disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems of tens of thousands of children and young adults in the United States.
