Ogdensburg Key Club reschedules 'Santa Land' to Dec. 22

The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club has rescheduled its annual Santa Land to Sunday.

Area children three years old and up are invited to spend part of the afternoon with the teenage members of the Key Club, Ogdensburg’s high school service organization.

The event will be held at the Ogdensburg Visitors Center Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.

"Parents with young children are busy during the holidays. Santa Land offers them a chance to take a little time to themselves to get last minute shopping done, decorate the house, or just take a break from the stresses of the holiday season," said Key Club President Charlotte Miller. "Children will have the opportunity to enjoy holiday-oriented crafts, listen to a Christmas story, write a letter to Santa Claus and even spend a little time with the jolly old elf.

"The Greater Ogdensburg community has always been extremely supportive of our members and our organization throughout the year," Miller said. "This event provides us an opportunity to give back to our community and provide our own Christmas gift to area families - the gift of time."

The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club is sponsored by the Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club.
