OGDENSBURG – Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will provide a free breastfeeding class for new mothers.
The program is open to any expecting or new mother who has questions about breastfeeding. The class will be held May 17, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Medical Center’s Hess Auditorium.
Vicki McLain, RN, certified lactation consultant will facilitate the class.
During the class, topics to be discussed include: successful breastfeeding, returning to work while breastfeeding and breastfeeding in public.
New mothers and their support person are encouraged to attend.
