OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is hosting three events in recognition of its breast cancer awareness month.
Oct. 3 will be the "Pink Ribbon Night to Remember" buffet dinner at the St. Lawrence Sportsman’s Club at 5 p.m. Food will be catered by the Ole Smokehouse. Comedy hypnotist Don Swan will perform. Tickets are $35 each or $60 per couple.
will include a breast cancer awareness walk. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. at the Dobisky center. The walk will start at 6 p.m. and end at the CHMC auditorium, where light refreshments will be served.
On the same day, the hospital will offer free breast cancer screening for the uninsured from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Appointments are required: 713-5095.
