OGDENSBURG -- The Historic Commission is currently working on improving and enhancing the War of 1812 Downtown Battlefield Walking Tour plaques along the City of Ogdensburg’s waterfront and Greenbelt area.
Commission members have been diligently working on inspecting the plaques for vandalism, damage or weathering and are looking at having new ones created.
The Historic Commission, working with owners of the Sperling Building, installed a plaque that had never been put up regarding cannons during the War of 1812.
