OGDENSBURG -- The States will perform a free concert at the Ogdensburg GreenMarket in Library Park Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The States have performed all over the United States at farmers markets and community events.
Bring lawn chairs and relax in the shade a Library Park.
This week at the GreenMarket you’ll find the season’s first green corn, tomatoes, green, red and hot peppers, green & yellow beans, NYS Peaches, cabbage, zucchini and summer squash, kale, spring salad mix, the first potatoes, beets, garlic, onions and whatever else is ready for harvest Saturday morning.
In addition to the fresh produce you can always find River Myst wines, homemade pies, cookies, breads, jams & jellies, whoopee pies, cupcakes and granola. A huge selection of locally grown potted herbs, all natural organic soaps, ‘American Doll’ doll clothes, Preemie clothes, baskets, hand crafted jewelry and garden stepping stones featuring stained glass designs.
The Ogdensburg GreenMarket is also open on Thursdays on the corner of King Streets & Mansion Ave. at CHMC from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Food Stamps, WIC and Senior Coupons gladly accepted. For more information or to become a vendor, please call Sandy Porter at the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce 393-3620.
