OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club’s spring talent show is scheduled for June 3 at 7 p.m. at Ogdensburg Free Academy’s George Hall Auditorium.

The winner of each division in the elementary, junior high and high school contests will be invited to perform on Saturday, July 8 at the opening of MOOD Fest, Ogdensburg’s outdoor summer music festival. The winner of that show will be the opening act the following day, which also includes performances from many local bands and blues-rocker Chaz DePaolo.

Admission to the June 3 show is $3 for students and $5 for adults.

Divisions will be limited to the first six registrants in each age group.

The deadline for registrations will be May 30.

The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club’s Talent Show is the city’s oldest student talent show.

“For 20 years, the OFA Key Club’s Talent Show has helped young people from across Northern New York showcase their talents and demonstrate what they can do on stage,” said Key Club President Annalise Dutch. “Our fall and spring talent shows have helped put the spotlight on many of St. Lawrence County’s top young performers.

"Our new partnership with the organizers of MOOD will help more talented young people obtain the recognition they deserve.”

Trophies will be awarded to the top three in each division.

All funds raised will be used to help students attend the state leadership training conference in Albany.

All entrants must arrive at the OFA auditorium by 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the show.
