There will be a meeting of The Ogdensburg Community Garden plot holders on Saturday morning, May 12 at the Gazebo in Library Park. Meeting begins at 10 a.m.

If you have already signed up for a plot in the gardens, please come to the meeting and get your plot assignment, instructions and get ready for the planting season.

If you don’t have a plot yet, but would like to learn more about the whole Community Gardening experience, please stop by the Gazebo and speak with us, hopefully we can answer all your questions and get you gardening.

The garden plots are ready for planting, the 26 beds have been constructed and filled with top soil. The shed which was donated by the Ogdensburg Rotary Club was delivered on Tuesday night. We will be filling the shed with tools and hoses and wheelbarrows etc.

The Ogdensburg Community Garden sign which was donated by Gary Baker of Bakes Kustom Painting will be put up next week.

The Ogdensburg Community Garden was made possible by a $6,000 grant from St. Lawrence Health Initiative, Creating Healthy Places to Live, Work & Play St. Lawrence County Project.
