OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg Command Performances will present Beach Party Boys, a tribute to The Beach Boys, on Oct. 9.
Curtain time is 7:45 p.m. in Gouverneur High School Auditorium, 133 East Barney St.
Since their inception, they have performed in Europe, California and at the 2012 Canadian National Exhibition. In August 2013 in Montreal, they opened for the real Beach Boys.
"They bring to life the music of summer with The Beach Boys greatest hits in a fast paced, entertaining show with a nostalgic look back at 60s pop culture," according to OCP.
The members of Beach Party Boys have all played in various Beach Boys tribute shows for over 25 years.
Their show includes using the same instruments as the Beach Boys, as well as clothing and vocal harmonies.
Tickets range from $17 to $37, with discounts available for senior citizens, students, groups of 15 or more and OCP “Friends.”
