OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Command Performance series will wrap up with “Oh, What A Night!,” a musical tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons Jan. 5 at 3 p.m. in George Hall Auditorium, Ogdensburg Free Academy.
The tribute is described as a “high energy ‘Jersey Boys’ revue” by a series flyer, and includes original hits and Top 10 releases, including the solo hit from “Grease!” The performance will include hits like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons were inducted into the Rock of Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, and Valli continues to perform live.
The tribute is “exuberantly performed, excitingly sung, and pumped with theatrical pizzaz,” according to a Las Vegas Review-Journal article by Anthony Del Valle. “The production proves that a simple concert can make for uplifting theater when you have artists involved who understand the drama of songs.”
Ticket prices range from $15 to $37. To order visit www.ilovetheatre.org or call 393-2625.
