OGDENSBURG -- The fourth expo featuring bridal and special event planning services will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17.
This year’s event, “Your Special Day Expo,” will feature a fashion show at 2:30 p.m., and the cake dive for brides at 3:30 p.m.
“These expos have been very successful in the past, and we hope to build on that momentum again this spring,” said Assemblywoman Addie Russell, D-Theresa.
“It’s a bridal expo plus a whole lot more,” she said, adding the event provides an opportunity for residents to discover products and service providers for special events that are available in their own backyards. “It’s a great opportunity to find matches between local businesses and residents planning special events.”
In addition to vendors that can focus on wedding day plans there will also be businesses and artisans that can help with plans for proms, graduation parties, class reunions, anniversary parties, baby showers and birthday parties. Gifts for these types of events will be on sale.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17 at 120 Commerce Park Drive, Building 11, in the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority complex.
Efforts are currently underway to secure vendors for the event. The cost is a $30 for a 10- foot by 10-foot booth and $60 for a 20-foot by 10-foot booth.
For more information or to reserve a booth, email russella@assembly.state.ny.us or call 315-786-0284 or 315-386-2037.
Proceeds from the event will be split by the Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club and the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club.
These organizations provide volunteer support for the expo.
