OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum will host several events over the next few weeks.
The “Make a Masterpiece Art Class” Tuesday, May 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. will read “When Pigasso Met Mootisse” by Nina Laden. Kids ages five and older will then learn about modern art and Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso. Kids will then create a blended portrait using elements of both artists’ styles.
Lunch brunch will be held Wednesday, May 22. Kids under age four and their caretakers can bring a bag lunch and participate in an art activity from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids will make silver sea horses.
Kids’ Place will be open Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The museum will also hold the Ogdensburg Public Library Program Tuesday, May 28 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Kids can drop off completed dream car drawings from the last session or receive help finishing a drawing.
