OGDENSBURG – The AARP local chapter has set a luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Freight House Restaurant, 20 Market St.
The speaker is Canton-Potsdam Hospital Social Media and Community Relations Coordinator Deborah C. J. Chase-Lauther, who will present Organizer Wisdom: What Not to Do When Decluttering. She will speak about living a simplified, uncluttered life with less stuff, the benefits of which include less to clean, less debt, less to organize, less stress, more money, and more energy for other things.
The luncheon menu is roast beef, garlic-pepper roasted red bliss potatoes, tossed salad, green beans, rolls and butter, no dessert. Guests can request gluten free. It costs $13.
