OGDENSBURG -- NYS Bass Federation Tournament and Sportsman Show will bring more than 150 anglers to Ogdensburg to fish on the St. Lawrence River Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 19 and 20 from the marina at the Dobisky Visitor’s Center.

The show will have many vendors including DRAFS, GKB Enterprises, Lakeland Winery, Natural Nook, Northern Flow Vineyards, St. Lawrence Sail & Power Squadron and Wimpy’s Inn.

Boats will be launching at safe light, probably between 5:30 and 6 a.m. They will return between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. for weigh-ins.

The tournament will close out Sunday afternoon with one winning team of six anglers and two individual winners.

The tournament is made possible through donations from Acco Brands, Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Jreck Subs, Kimro’s Medicine Place, Law Office of Marcia LeMay, Mort Backus and Sons, Inc., Ogdensburg Save-A-Lot, St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, Tebo’s Camps, McLear’s Fishbone Café and SR Med Cab.
