MASSENA—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will host its “Beat the Heat Summer Movie Days” every Tuesday during July and August at the St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Hydroelectric Power Plant.’s Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch in Massena.
A full day of free movies and popcorn will be shown at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the visitors center’s air-conditioned auditorium.
The July “Beat the Heat” Tuesday movie schedule is:
• July 2:
10 a.m. “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted”
1 p.m. “Escape from Planet Earth”
3 p.m. “Ice Age: Continental Drift”
• July 9:
10 a.m. “Horton Hears a Who”
1 p.m. “Jack the Giant Slayer”
3 p.m. “Brave”
• July 16:
10 a.m. “Toys in the Attic”
1 p.m. “Crooked Arrows”
3 p.m. “Here Comes the Boom”
• July 23:
10 a.m. “Despicable Me”
1 p.m. “Pitch Perfect”
3 p.m. “Wreck it Ralph”
• July 30:
10 a.m. “Annie”
1 p.m. “Big Miracle”
3 p.m. “Fun Size”
The “Beat the Heat” schedule for August will be announced shortly.
