NORWOOD -- The Norwood Village Green Concert Series opens its 44th annual season on Thursday, June 1, with the St. Lawrence County Pop Choral/Stage Band Festival, from 3-9 p.m.
Eleven groups from six school districts will perform including Canton, Potsdam, Massena, Hermon-DeKalb, Edwards-Knox, Colton-Pierrepont, and Lisbon school districts will perform.
The schedule of performances which is subject to change:
• 3-4 p.m. Individual student performances;
• 4 p.m. Edwards Knox Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Brenda Curley and Edwards Knox Pop Choir conducted by Cheryl Doyle;
• 4:30 p.m. Colton-Pierrepont Vocal Jazz Group, conducted by Don Washington;
• 5 p.m. Hermon-DeKalb Rock Ensemble, conducted by Matt Gayle;
• 5:30 p.m. Hermon-DeKalb Jazz Band, conducted by Jonathan Pabis;
• 6 p.m. AAK Show Choir, conducted by Laura Di Matteo;
• 6:30 p.m. AAK Stage Band, conducted by Christine Rawady;
• 7 p.m. Potsdam High School Jazz Band, conducted by Jill Rubio;
• 7:30 p.m. Massena High School Jazz Band, conducted by Jonathan Hunkins;
• 8 p.m. Canton High School Jazz Band, conducted by Tim Savage; and
• 8:30 p.m. Lisbon High School Jazz Band, conducted by Glenn Roberts.
