Norwood Village Green Concert Series opens 45th Anniversary Season with SLCMEA Pop Choral/Stage Band Festival

NORWOOD – The Norwood Village Green Concert Series opens its 45th Anniversary Season on Thursday, May 31 with the St. Lawrence County Pop Choral/Stage Band Festival beginning at 3 p.m.

Ten performing groups from area school districts will perform including Norwood-Norfolk,Canton, Potsdam, Massena, Hermon-DeKalb, Edwards-Knox, Colton-Pierrepont, and Lisbon school districts. It begins at 3 p.m. and ends by 9 p.m.

Here is the schedule of performances, which may be subject to change:

3 p.m. The Norwood-Norfolk High School Jazz Band – Martin Wimmer

3:30-4:30 p.m. Individual student performances

4:30 p.m. The Hermon-DeKalb Jazz Band - Jonathan Pabis

5 p.m. The Hermon-DeKalb Rock Ensemble - Kyle Tupper

5:30 p.m. The AAK Middle School Chorus - Matt Gayle

6 p.m. The AAK Middle School Stage Band – Christine Rawady

6:30 p.m. The Potsdam High School Jazz Band – Jill Rubio

7 p.m. The Massena High School Jazz Band – Jonathan Hunkins

7:30 p.m. The Canton High School Jazz Band – Tim Savage

8 p.m. The Lisbon High School Jazz Band – Glenn Roberts

8:30 p.m. The Norwood-Norfolk High School Bel-Aires – Jonathan Burnet
