NORWOOD -- A public hearing of the qualified voters of the Norwood Public Library Special Legislative District will be held May 16, at 6 p.m. for the presentation of the proposed funding increase of the special legislative district library.
The library board of trustees is proposing a $2000 increase, over the appropriation of $85,000, which was approved by the voters in 2011.
Voters will decide on the measure May 23 between the hours of 2 and 8 p.m. at the library, 1 Morton St.
Voters will also elect two trustees to the board.
