NORWOOD -- In honor of Woman’s History Month, the Friends of the Norwood Public Library are offering a buy one, get one free sale on all biographies in their bookstore.
They have a variety of adult and young adult life stories; about people who influenced history, people who influenced the arts, and sports heroes. Parents may be interested in the new parenting and home school section.
The bookstore is located within the library and is open whenever the library is open. Most hardcover books sell for a dollar each, and paperbacks are .50 or less.
Donations of books in good condition are welcome. The Friends are also currently collecting books to send to the Veteran’s hospital in Syracuse.
The Friends of the Norwood Public Library meet on the third Tuesday of each month. Info: 353-6692.
