Norwood-Norfolk students presenting "Guys and Dolls" Friday and Saturday

NORWOOD -- The Norwood-Norfolk High School will present the musical “Guys and Dolls” Friday, March 15, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 16, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium.

Ticket price is $12 for adults and $8 for children. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.showtix4u.com/events/15456 or at the high school office.

“Guys and Dolls,” a romantic comedy, tells the story of two relationships that both struggle between a life of excitement and fast living, and following the straight and narrow.

Ethan King and Matthew Frost play the roles of high rolling gamblers Sky Masterson and Nathan Detroit, and their love interests are showgirl Adelaide, played by Erin Dickinson, and the uptight missionary Sarah Brown. played by Emily Jarvis.

Comedic relief is provided by Nicely Nicely Johnson, played by Taylor Michaud.

Other cast members include Kaelee Salacka as Arvida, Gordon Hall as Benny Southwest, Joshua Hall as Rusty Charlie and Asher Cragg as Harry the Horse and Zach Roi as Big Jule.

There are over 50 other students that make up the ensemble and over 30 students on stage crew.

Senior Hailyn Coller is the assistant stage manager.
