NORWOOD – As the district copes with growing costs and reduced aid, Norwood-Norfolk Central School will host two public forums regarding a three-year budget project.
Norwood-Norfolk Central School Board of Education invites all interested district residents and local business owners to participate in meetings Jan. 29 and Feb. 27.
The forums will be held in the Elementary Cafeteria from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Each Forum will have the same format and content and will be aimed updating the public on the current financial condition of the school district.
The board will also share a three-year budget projection, and ask for community input on some of the difficult choices ahead.
Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to Barbara Halpin in the District Office, 353-9951 x2604.
Responses should be received by Jan. 18 for the first forum and by Feb. 15 for the second. Registration is not required, but will help us plan for attendance and allow the school to send information to read and review ahead of time.
