NORWOOD – Norwood Library’s annual Christmas party will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m., beginning with stories around the Christmas tree.

The prizes for the Children’s Holiday Reading Contest and the Fill-a-Mug contest will be awarded.

The winners of the Friends of the Norwood Library raffle will be announced. There will be trivia with prizes, and refreshments will be served.

All books read for the Children’s Holiday Reading Contest must be returned by 9 p.m., Dec. 7. These books must have been borrowed from the Norwood Library to be counted.

The child who reads the most books in the 3-7 year old category will receive a Winnie the Pooh bear and Winnie the Pooh Nature’s True Colors.

The 8-12 age group will receive an Eeyore plush animal and Winnie the Pooh Somebody’s Treasure.

Patrons will vote for their favorite Fill-a-Mugs Dec. 1-8. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded.

The mugs will be displayed and sold at the Old Market Gift Shop to benefit the library.

The library will also pull winners in a fundraiser raffle. Tickets for $1 must be returned to the library by Dec. 8 to be included in the drawing.
