NORWOOD -- The Norwood Beach Duathlons will be held Tuesday June 16, Tuesday July 21, and Tuesday Aug 18.
Registration is at the beach, Lake Shore Drive at 5:45 p.m. The race starts at 6:30 p.m. The race includes a 1.5-mile run, an 8-mile bike ride and a 1.5-mile run.
Individual and team registrations are accepted. Racers under 18 must have parental consent. The cost is $5 per race or $15 for the series. T-shirts will be given to those paying for the series.
Proceeds go to the John C. Purvis Memorial Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors. The race will only be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm.
