NORWOOD -- The first Norwood Beach Duathlon event of the summer is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 21.
Registration begins at 5:45 p.m. and the race begins at 6:30. It is $15 for all three races of the season with a T-shirt included, or $5 per race.
All bikers must wear a helmet and anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent’s or guardian’s signature.
The Duathlon will be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm.
Proceeds will benefit the John Purvis scholarship fund.
The remaining races are on the third Tuesday of July and August.
