NORWOOD -- The Norwood American Legion is hosting upcoming meals and Easter festivities.
They will serve an Italian dinner on March 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post, 10 Maple St. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, meat sauce, chicken Alfredo, stuffed shells, lasagna, macaroni and cheese, tossed salad, dessert and coffee. Cost is $5 per person and $1 for children age 12 and under. Proceeds go to the Wounded Warriors Project.
The Easter bunny will visit March 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the post on Maple Street. There will be gift bags, bunny ears, crafts, coloring and balloons. There will also be a buffet of goodies.
The legion will serve an Easter Sunday pancake breakfast at the Norwood municipal building on April 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Menu includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, home fries, orange and pineapple juice, blueberry muffins, coffee and tea. Cost is $6 per person and free for ages 12 and under. Proceeds go to milfoil control efforts at Norwood Lake.
