MALONE -- The Northern Zone of the New York State Retired Teachers Association is hosting a fall membership meeting at the Malone Golf Club, Golf Club Drive, beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
All retired educators, along with their guests, in Franklin and St. Lawrence counties are invited to attend.
The featured speaker is Karen Flewelling, an Albany-area retired educator and author whose non-profit organization builds wells in needy countries.
The day includes registration and continental breakfast at 9 a.m., a business meeting at 9:30 a.m., guest speaker at 11 a.m., and a noon lunch.
Reservations are $21 per person and the deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 20.
