MASSENA -- The Northern Zone for Counselors and Development hosts a staff development event March 15 in the Massena Central High School cafeteria, for professionals working with school age students and families.
Registration by March 12 is required.
The morning session will be on the Boomerang Project, an internationally recognized high school and middle school transition program built on the premise that students can help students succeed, by training educators to facilitate peer mentorship at their schools fostering leadership and group development. Boomerang Project coordinators will be there.
After lunch (free to Northern Zone members, $5 others), Drs. James and Nancy Cerio present Living Well with Anxiety, covering several ways of helping adolescents and adults to handle anxiety.
