Northern NY Agricultural Development Program to hold maple sap production workshop Oct. 1 in Canton

CANTON -- The Northern NY Agricultural Development Program will host a workshop to discuss maple sap production yields on Oct. 1 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County Extension Learning Farm from 5 to 8 p.m.

Speakers will present evaluation of the use of different spouts and droplines.

Their will be a tour of the sugarbush where research trials were performed followed by an inside presentation of research results.

A pizza dinner will be provided. Registration is required by Sept. 27 with Brett Buchanan at bab22@cornell.edu or 379-9192.

A $10 payment will be accepted at the door.
