MASSENA -- The Northern Lights Orchestra will present a concert entitled “A Night at the Dance” at the Massena Springs Park at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 to end this year's Summer Concert in the Park Series.
In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Massena Fire Hall.
The program will be presented in three sets: classical, traditional, and pop, and will feature many well-known selections, from the famous Blue Danube Waltz by Strauss, to Irish step-dancing favorites like lord of the dance, traditional American tunes such as the Tennessee Waltz, and notable rock and pop hits made famous by Journey, Lady Gaga and ABBA.
Northern Lights conductor and music director Christian Hosmer has conducted, taught, performed, and composed music in Northern New York for more than twenty years.
