EDWARDS – The Edwards Opera House will feature two musical acts, Northbound and Delia, for their end-of-summer blast Saturday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

Northbound performs an eclectic mix of folk, acoustic, and classic rock.

Their influences draw from the great singer-songwriters of the 50's through today; names like James Taylor, Paul Simon, John Fogerty, The Beatles.

They have been performing in the North Country together for years and always bring an exciting blend of music that spans a wide variety of musical tastes.

Northbound features: Michael Welch, Don Cannamela, Larry Baycura and Andy VanDuyne.

Delia performs classic R&B, Motown, Old Time Rock n Roll, Blues and a taste of country.

Based in the Adirondack Mountains, John Kribs and Gwen Tracy formed Delia several years ago.

The band takes its name from the classic Blues tune of that same name and plays as both an acoustic trio and a rock quartet with influences as varied as their ages and musical backgrounds.

The band also includes Orion Kribs and Joe Morizio.

Each band will perform a set and then join together for a closing set featuring both drummers.

Tickets are $8 at the door.

The Edwards Opera House is located on the second floor at 161 Main St., Edwards.
