The North Country 350 Alliance, a local climate change awareness group, is chartering a bus to the Sept. 21 People's Climate March in New York City.
They will meet in front of the lean-to at Paul Smith's College at 5 a.m. that day, drive down for the march and return at night.
Event organizers say the event is to influence policy makers to support renewable energy rather than fossil fuels.
The cost is $50.
Event organizers are trying to find groups to carpool from St. Lawrence County to Paul Smith's.
They ask those interested to go to http://peoplesclimate.org/march or email pondysh@gmail.com with a name, email address, phone number, an emergency contact number, town or college of residence and if one can provide carpool transportation.
