CANTON -- The North Country Walk To End Alzheimer’s is scheduled for Sept. 7 at Partridge Run Golf and Country Club, Sullivan Drive. Event organizers say they expect more than 300 people from the region to participate. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the walk begins at 1 p.m.
The event is a three-mile walk and participants will learn more about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical trial enrollment, and support programs and services of the Alzheimer’s Association. Each walker will also join in a tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s.
