CANTON -- Traditional Arts of Upstate New York (TAUNY) will present a contest, North Country Trivia, from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at the TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.
Groups of up to four players will have a chance to test their knowledge of local history and culture in a trivia game run by Clarkson University student volunteers. Cell phones and other research devices are not allowed. Each member of the winning team will win a gift card to the North Country Folkstore.
The game is open to people of all ages for a suggested donation of $5 to $10 per team. TAUNY asks that groups pre-register as space is limited. Interested participants can call 315-386-4289 to register. Refreshments will be served.
