CANTON -- The Brewer Bookstore will celebrate the publication of “Taking Heart,” a new work of historical fiction set in the 1000 Islands, by North Country native Maggie Hockett.
Hockett will meet patrons and sign copies of her novel from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24.
