MASSENA -- Senior citizen golfers can compete for cash and prizes at the Aug. 7 North Country Men's and Women's Senior Golf Championship at the Massena Country Club, state Route 131.
Event organizers say there is over $3,500 up for grabs.
The tournament will be in six flights according to age. They include 50 to 54 years, 55 to 59 years, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74 and 75 and up.
Net and gross winners will receive prizes.
There will be two shotguns starts, at 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The awards ceremony and dinner will be around 5:30 p.m.
Entry fee, which includes cart fee, is $47 for country club members and $65 for non-members. For those who want to walk, it is $35 for members and $50 for non-members.
Registration deadline is Aug. 4.
