POTSDAM – North Country Matters, WCKN, will talk about the Potsdam Library with Pat Mustane, Library Director, Carol Halliday, Library Board Fiscal Officer, and Chip Morris, a Library Board member on March 17 and 18.
The show broadcasts at 7:30 p.m. both nights with host Donna Seymour to discuss the upcoming Library referendum, the operations of the Library, its history, the many services the library provides, as well as a discussion of newer digital media materials.

The second show, airing at 8 p.m. both nights, is a conversation about education grants with Steve Todd, the Assistant Superintendent for St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES. He sat down with education blogger Ann Carvill and Seymour.
This show picks up where a previous NMC show left off with the same topic and guest last fall that looked at how BOCES leverages their multi-district resources to write successful grants.
In particular he talks about the $2 million in grant money to create a cadre of local teachers to help implement the new Common Core standards.
