LOUISVILLE -- North Country Comic Con will return with comic books, card tournaments, videogame tournaments and panels from North Country artists on Sept. 23.

VIP admission is $10, general admission is $5 and children are $1.

Actress Noelle Hannibal from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Star Trek: First Contact and Voyager will appear as a special guest this year, according to the event's website.

There will be cosplay contests for best Marvel, best DC, best overall outfit.

Illustrators Chelsea "Lil Bruno" Bruno and Melanie Wood from Space Cow Illustrations will also be at the event.

Noon - General admission doors open

12:20 p.m. - Screening of "Star Wars: A New Hope"

12:30 p.m. - Injustice 2 tournament, $1 per person

1 p.m. - Call of Duty Black Ops 3: Zombies tournament, $1 per person

1:30 to 2:30 p.m. - "Putting the 'U' in Crusader" panel with North Country Crusaders

2:20 p.m. - Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back screening

2:30 p.m. - Art contest (hand-drawn only), $1 per entry

2:45 p.m. - Street Fighter 5 tournament, $1 per person

3:30 p.m. - Mario Kart 8 tournament, $1 per person

4:40 p.m. - Screening of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi"

7:05 p.m. - Screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"
