CANTON -- The next North Country Civil War Roundtable will be Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association, 3 East Main St.
The role of northern New York regiments at the Battle of Chancellorsville will be discussed by Civil War lecturer Stanley Maine.
Among the units involved at Chancellorsville in May 1863 were the 60th and 16th NY Volunteer Infantry regiments and Battery D of the 1st NY Light Artillery.
Two soldiers from the 16th were awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for their actions at Chancellorsville.
