POTSDAM — The North Country Children's Museum's “Poetry Workshop” with Jake St. Pierre will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the University Bookstore, 39 Marker St. It is geared toward students in grades 2-6.
In this program, kids work with a local poet and musician to learn the basics of stanzas and wordplay through a North Country lens. Kids: bring an item – one that you think most captures the spirit of the North Country.
The cost is $10 per participant. Register at clear@potsdam.edu or 315-267-2167. Walk-ins welcome if space is available. Need based discounts available.
Caregivers are required to stay during the program.
