POTSDAM — The North Country Children's Museum will present “Roller Coaster Physics” on Saturday, April 1 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Clarkson University Bookstore, 39 Market St.
NCCM and MotionCraft Technologies invite children in kindergarten through fifth grade to participate and explore the science of roller coasters through a series of toy car activities.
Toy cars will be given to the children and they will investigate how their car behaves on magnetically wall-mounted adjustable tracks.
The class is taught by Dr. Mike Ramsdell, professor of physics at Clarkson.
The cost is $10 per participant. Register at clear@potsdam.edu or 267-2167.
Walk-ins welcome if space is available.
