NORWOOD – The North Country Chapter of the NY Statewide Senior Action Council will meet at the Lobster House Thursday, June 1.
There will be a business meeting at 10 a.m. and speaker Melissa Howard from Northern NY Foster Grandparent Program will address the chapter at 10:30.
Maria Alverez, the council executive director will update the gathering on current events in Albany.
At 11:30 a.m., Andrea Montgomery, Office for the Aging director will give an update on the activities of that department.
Lunch is at noon.
Attendees can order from the menu and pay for their choice.
The meeting is open to the public.
