POTSDAM -- North Country 350 Alliance is hosting a free presentation on electric vehicle (EV) technology with Paul Dietershagen from the Sierra Club 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17.
The event will be held in the community room at the top of the Potsdam Civic Center. The latest information will be shared on EVs, and how EV technology and options are expanding. Dietershagen is an EV advocate who now owns his second electric car.
In addition to information on available electric vehicles and their costs and features, information will be shared on financial incentives to buy EVs, charging and maintenance issues, and more.
According to Mike Orcutt in his Feb. 26, 2016 MIT Technology Review Article, "The 2020s could be the decade when electric cars take over." All are welcome at this free presentation to learn more about electric vehicle technology.
This is part of an ongoing series of monthly informational activities sponsored by NC 350 on the third Tuesday of each month. For more information, contact Ginger Storey-Welch at 379-9564, or northcountry350@gmail.com.
