NORFOLK -- The Norfolk Rod and Gun Club’s annual rabbit hunt is set for Dec. 15.

The entry fee $15. Pre-registration is available until 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at:

· Haun Welding – Massena

· Hilltop Hunting and Fishing – Morley

· Al Smiths Superette – Norfolk

· North Woods Outfitters – Potsdam

· Waddington True Value

· Performance Shooting – Westville

· Merriman’s – Norwood

· Village Market – West Stockholm

Competitors can also register at the clubhouse on Cemetery Road from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The hunt closes at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Each hunter needs only one snowshoe or cottontail rabbit to be eligible for prizes. There will be no weigh-ins.

Refreshments will be served at the club.

Prizes in the Junior Event are two semi-automatic .22 cal. rifles; adult prizes are two semi-automatic .22 cal. rifles, black powder rifles, a tree stand, and a trail cam.
