NORFOLK -- The Church of the Visitation will host its 31st summer social Aug. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the church on Morris Street.
There will be a children’s midway featuring a dunking booth, fish pond, face painting, balloon pop and more.
There will also be live entertainment from Jack Kelley’s Little Band, a cake walk, raffles and Pastor’s plunge.
Booths of Chinese, French, Hungarian, Italian, Irish, Mexican and traditional American will be available to sample. A children/s meal of a hot dog, chips, drink and cupcake will cost $2.
Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for ages 5 to 10 and free for children under age five.
The event takes place at the parish center behind the church at 3 Morris St.
