OGDENSBURG – A benefit no-tap bowling tournament will take place at the Ogdensburg Bowl on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit Steven Heaton's medical expenses.
The format will be a three-member (men, women, co-ed) team. Each team bowls three single games.
After all teams bowl, a percentage of the teams qualify to roll off in a playoff format. The sixth place team rolls against the fifth place team and the winner advances to play the fourth place team. These playoffs are single games alternate bowlers.
The first bowler will bowl the first, fourth, seventh, and tenth frame. Entry fee is $60 per team.
The tournament format is similar to the Bud Light Challenge that the Ogdensburg Bowl holds monthly.
Cash prizes will be awarded.
