NORWOOD -- The Northern New York Lawnmower Racing Association will hold its championship races Friday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. under the lights at the Norwood Firemen's Field, Morgan Street. Gates open at 4 p.m. and admission is $3. There will be food and beverages available.
"If you've never seen these lawnmowers racing around the track at 50 mph, you are missing a lot of excitement," said event organizer Tim Donahue. "This is the last chance this summer to catch them at their best."
