NICHOLVILLE -- The United Methodist Church, 637 Water St., will hold a memorial tree lighting Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. at the beginning of the Sunday service.

Donations of $1 per bulb per name in memory of a loved one are now being accepted. Names will be published at a later date in local papers.

Names can be sent, with a check payable to Nicholville UMC, to Gloria Brean, Comm. Co-ord, 819 Peru St., North Lawrence, 12965.

Mittens, hats and scarves for a “mitten” tree are also being accepted and will be donated to needy children.
