MASSENA -- The Nicandri Nature Center will hold a walking and running clinic Saturday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dr. Jason Wolstenholme, DC from Burlington, Vt., will teach attendees the safe and healthy way to walk and run and not hurt themselves.
Wolstenholme will cover an introduction to natural, healthy running, optimal body position, correct foot position, effective upper body movement, cadence and drills, mobility, and flexibility and strengthening exercises.
Participants will be doing some gentle, short walking and running outside that everyone can participate in.
The clinic is free and open to the public.
Attendees are advised to bring comfortable clothes, walking or running shoes, and bug spray and a friend.
